 The Department of Philosophy congratulates [Professor Selim Berker ](/people/selim-berker)on his article “The Unity of Grounding” being chosen as one of the ten best philosophy articles of the year by [The Philosopher’s Annual.](http://www.philosophersannual.org/) Originally published in *[Mind,](https://academic.oup.com/mind/article/127/507/729/3896379/)* Berker’s article claims “that there is fundamentally only one grounding/in-virtue-of relation” and that “this single relation is indispensable for normative theorizing.”
