#  Christine M. Korsgaard and Trystan Goetze to speak at 2022 Eastern Division APA Conference

 On the evening of **Thursday, January 6**, Dr. Trystan Goetze will be presenting a paper entitled “The Moral Emotions and Epistemic Accountability, or, Don’t Get Mad, but There Is No Such Thing as (Purely) Epistemic Blame” as part of the Society for Philosophy of Emotion affiliate program at the [Eastern Division APA Conference](https://www.apaonline.org/events/EventDetails.aspx?id=1256297&group=).

 On **Friday, January 7**, from 2–3:50p.m., Professor Christine M. Korsgaard will give the John Dewey Lecture, “Thinking in Good Company,” at the Eastern Division APA Conference.

 [Christine M. Korsgaard](/people/christine-korsgaard) is the Arthur Kingsley Porter Research Professor of Philosophy. She is the author of four books. *The Sources of Normativity* (Cambridge, 1996), an expanded version of her 1992 Tanner Lectures; *Creating the Kingdom of Ends* (Cambridge, 1996); *The Constitution of Agency* (Oxford, 2008); and *Self-Constitution: Agency, Identity, and Integrity* (Oxford, 2009), She is also one of the editors of *Reclaiming the History of Ethics: Essays for John Rawls* (Cambridge, 1997).

 [Trystan Goetze](/people/trystan-goetze) is the “Bridge Fellow” in Embedded EthiCS, coordinating connections and collaborations with other organizations who are developing computer ethics training. In their spare time, they run, play, and design roleplaying games.
