 

#  Kate Vredenburgh accepts position at London School of Economics

 Kate Vredenburgh, a doctoral candidate in the Department of Philosophy, has accepted a position as Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the London School of Economics, which she will begin in 2020. Prior to this, she will take up a postdoc at the McCoy Family Center for Ethics in Society at Stanford University.

 Kate has been the recipient of the [Derek C Bok Award for Excellence in Graduate Student Teaching of Undergraduates](/news/kate-vredenburgh-receives-derek-c-bok-award-excellence-graduate-student-teaching), which she received in 2016, and has taught and designed modules for Harvard's recently launched program in [Embedded EthiCS](https://news.harvard.edu/gazette/story/2019/01/harvard-works-to-embed-ethics-in-computer-science-curriculum/).
