Please Note: Because many members of the philosophical community will not want to attend events on the Harvard campus during the potential strike by the Harvard Graduate Student Union, the first Whitehead lecture is being conducted at First Church Cambridge on October 29th, instead of in Emerson Hall. The second lecture will be held, as originally scheduled, on November 5th in Emerson Hall, Room 210.
Masks are required and attendees are asked to socially distance. In order to ensure adequate air circulation at the First Church in Cambridge, the door to the outside will remain open and ceiling fans will draw air out of the building. Attendees are therefore advised to dress warmly.
Attendance will be limited to 200 people, and all attendees will be asked to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19 at the door.
