Samantha Matherne Wins Phi Beta Kappa Award for Excellence in Teaching
Professor Samantha Matherne was the recipient of the Alpha-Iota Prize for Excellence in Teaching, awarded annually by the Phi Beta Kappa Society. Each year, the undergraduate members of Alpha Iota, led by four Phi Beta Kappa Marshals, decide on the Phi Beta Kappa awards for teaching excellence given to three members of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at the Literary Exercises, which took place this year on May 27th in Sanders Theatre.
