A two-day conference inspired in part by the #MeToo movement is the subject of a featured article in the Harvard Gazette.

Becca Rothfeld, a PhD candidate in the Department of Philosophy and co-organizer of the conference, notes that while much of the public conversation around #MeToo has centerd on "the ethics of a particular sexual encounter," far less time has been spent on discussions of the ethics of other kinds of intimacy, an omission Rothfeld finds within philosophy itself.

You can read more about Rothfeld and her fellow organizer's thoughts on #MeToo and the conference here. Details about the conference are available at the Mahindra Humanities Center.
