Danielle Allen joins department as new faculty affiliate

We are pleased to announce that Danielle Allen, James Bryant Conant University Professor at Harvard University and Director of Harvard’s Edmond J. Safra Center for Ethics, will be joining the department as a faculty affiliate.

Professor Allen is a political theorist who has published broadly in democratic theory, political sociology, and the history of political thought. Allen received a B.A. (1993) from Princeton University, an M.A. (1998) and Ph.D. (2001) from Harvard University, and an M.Phil. (1994) and Ph.D. (1996) from the University of Cambridge. In 2001, she became a MacArthur Fellow.
