After Yang is a sci-fi film set in a near-future world, where a refurbished robot named Yang is purchased to teach an adopted young daughter about her Chinese heritage. When Yang malfunctions, the family soon realizes what an integral part he has played in their lives and struggles as they seek to repair him.

Following the film, our expert panel will explore many questions and issues raised by the film including loss and grief, the role of technology in society, and what it means to be alive.
