Tommie Shelby elected Vice President of APA Eastern Division

The Department of Philosophy offers it warm congratulations to Tommie Shelby, Caldwell Titcomb Professor of African and African American Studies and of Philosophy at Harvard University, on being elected Vice President of the Eastern Division of the American Philosophical Association.

Shelby will begin his three-year term of office on July 1st. According to APA rules, "divisional vice presidents serve a one-year term as vice president, followed by a one-year term as president, and finally a one-year term as past president."
