Research interests: Early modern philosophy, applied ethics, normative ethics, logic
Aisling joined the department in the fall of 2024. She received her B.S. in mathematics from Saint Michael’s College and her M.A. in philosophy from Virginia Tech. She is particularly interested in early modern philosophy of mind and the works of early modern women philosophers. She also has a deep interest in medical and research ethics, prompted by her career in healthcare prior to beginning graduate school.
